Doctors, Psychiatrists & Paediatricians

We welcome working with children from the age of 12, adolescents, young adults, and adults.
We have a particular love for working with our neurodivergent clients, who need to rediscover their sparkle and make their life brighter!
-
Referrals may be made out to a specific psychologist, psychiatrist or generically to FRPC.
We gladly accept referrals and communication via email for your convenience. If a patient prefers a hard copy of their referral, we will scan their referral into our system, allowing them to keep the original document. Our goal is to make this as seamless as possible while ensuring that all necessary information is securely stored.
We also welcome patients without a referral under a private modality, as well as NDIS Self-Managed clients.
Additionally, clients with psychology coverage through their private health fund can use their invoice to make a private claim. Our aim is to provide flexible options to ensure that everyone has access to the support they need.
-
We want to keep you informed as soon as we receive your referral. To ensure you are aware, we will strive to send a brief letter of acceptance, confirming that we are welcoming and supporting your patients’ referrals.
Our commitment is to maintain clear communication and foster a collaborative approach to patient care.
Thank you for trusting us to nurture your patients psychological wellbeing.

Your patients can expect to be supported and nurtured throughout their journey with us. From the moment they reach out, we prioritise understanding their needs by gathering essential information.
During their first session, we will focus on collecting background details to better comprehend their life experiences, all while fostering a strong therapeutic relationship.
Patients will also have the opportunity to connect with our accredited therapy dog, who plays a vital role in creating a calming and relaxing environment. This gentle companion helps ease the nerves of many new patients as they enter the clinic. We believe that this unique interaction can enhance the overall experience and support their journey.

FRPC use secure, simple, and reliable electronic messaging services as well as fax and postage options.
A patient update letter or review is provided to doctors after the sixth session or upon completion of treatment. When necessary, our practitioners will share any relevant developments that could enhance the patient’s care.
We believe in maintaining open communication with healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to each patient’s wellbeing.
